The Administration Division leads the Police Department with Jim Morgan serving as Chief of Police and Major Larry Larimore serving as Deputy Police Chief. These positions are assisted by an Administrative Secretary. The Division staffs two other professionals, the Planning and Research Manager and the Crime Analyst.
Planning and Research Manager
- Responsible for continuous policy improvement by auditing the effectiveness of existing practices. Researches and advises on legal updates as changes in case law and legislation evolve. Other duties as assigned by the Chief and Deputy Chief of Police.
Crime Analyst
- Responsible for identifying crime trends and patterns to make forecasts and predictions on emerging crime series. Develops the data needed to effectively allocate officers to areas for the purpose of crime reduction and traffic safety.
